Start with a picnic on the lawn of the Old Manse, add in some music, then paddle up the Concord River at sunset, and top the evening off with a dash of pagan fire and drumming and you have River Solstice -- celebrating the longest day of the year at the confluence of the Assabet, Sudbury, and Concord Rivers.
